Bones is a popular American TV show starring David Boreanaz as a FBI agent and Emily Deschanel as a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who helps him work on his most difficult cases. The series is very reminiscent of early X Files episodes (Starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) and has gained a cult following with hard core X Files fans as well as building its own fan base of dedicated viewers during its time on air. You can currently catch it on Sky One in high definition widescreen.
With its blend of dry humour and interesting and complex cases to rival crime drama ‘CSI’ it is exactly the TV series that we have been waiting to see on our screens.
The chemistry between the two main characters Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan is evident from the very first episode and I think that the ‘Will they, won’t they get together’ element of the show is going to be a winning formula.
Another thing that makes the show interesting is Dr Brennan’s complete inability to relate to people, preferring instead to focus on her work and almost ‘push away’ real life. This may be linked to the disappearance of her Mother and Father as a child; the case has never been solved and is something that is often referred to in the show. I would expect to see some interesting developments with this storyline shortly.
The show has a strong supporting cast in the form of Temperance Brennan’s work colleagues at the Jeffersonian Institute who inject a vast amount of comedy and depth into the show with their own individual sub stories and tasks.
I’m sure that ‘Bones’ is going to continue to grow into and even more popular and entertaining show as time goes by and it is well worth catching on TV when you can.

And don’t forget the ever captivating relationship between Angela and Hodgins - between their relationship and the Bones/Booth relationship, the great murder plots and interesting science, the show is nothing short of awesome!

hey, i am a bit confused… i love bones, great story lines, amazing sexual tensions between characters which we could only dream of in real life…. but how come series two started… yay great!!! but then stopped and we had random repeats in crazy times,,, but now its back but it doesn’t seem to follow… some one please explain!!!

The second season of Bones started November 2006 from the start then it stopped re-run Season One then started Season Two again in Feb 07 which was a real let down as new characters had already been introduced then when they started it again the new characters were already established! Very confusing and a bit of a “mess up” from the powers that be @ Sky one!
Rest assured Bones Season Two is fantastic and I can’t wait for more romance to develope between Booth and Bones! Get that pesky Sully out the way as not liking him too much! Bring on the romance with Seely and Temperance that’s what I wanna watch!

i think that bones is great and i think it was so confusing that bones series 2 started at episode 7 !!! but tonite is the night in england that seely left and of cource booth was there as the shoulder to cry on. I just wish that they would sort out what they are playing on sky 1 — on a wed its series one 3 episodes of it then thursday a new episode.

There is no mention of a release date for season 2 on Wikipedia, either in zone 1 or zone 2, so don’t hold your breath.

I love and adore this show..it is amazing, it has everything!!!!!! S2 in the US is due out in Sept…and well, we all know how long it takes them to bring out the R2 of any US show (with possible exception of CSI) so….there’s always the option of getting a multi-region DVD player….???

I love bones! I so want her and Booth to get together, although I’ve not watched it right from the start, I can usually tell who are so meant to be, those two will definatly hit it off but probably ONLY when Bones ends, because then, we’ve all seen what we want to happen…and what else is there to do??
Bummer, but its true, I’ve watched waaay to many shows with this kinda relationship and it all happens at the end.

Great program and really interesting. been watching it since the start and look forward to it being on. Great storylines and interesting info even for the people who haven’t a clue, the characters talk in both detatil and dumb it down a little making it more beieveable. Enjoying watching it and looking forward to getting in on dvd after Xmas. Keep up the great entertainment

I’ve been searching around for a while and this is what I found (please correct me if I’m wrong):
‘We (UK and Ireland) are 2 episodes behind the US in series 3 which were shown just before Christmas. After the holidays, Bones was due to restart in Jan./Feb. but the writers’ strike caused a few problems. Instead, skyone has replaced the new series with repeats of 1 and 2. now that the strike has ended, the have started filming the rest of the series (2 more have been completed since, I believe).
IT IS THOUGHT THAT BONES SERIES 3 WILL RETURN TO THE UK AROUND THE END OF APRIL/BEGINNING OF MAY.’
Can’t wait!!!

i love bones but missed one episode. i now love how booth makes the ending sad by saying stuff. i used to watch buffy and loved angel then i watched bones and found angle was booth. i also love how bones manges to mess up stuff by being all scientifical.

have been addicted to “Bones” Brennan since Kathy Reichs’ 1st book. Can’t wait for next book. Will savour the 5th season, & have to be patient for the 6th series!!
